We head towards the castle following not the medieval path but the path traced in the 19th century by those who rediscovered the site.
The reliefs correspond to the collapsed walls of the castle. We do not know to this day if there was a gate between the City and the castle.
A ditch, barely visible in the photo, defended the castellans from the population…
